Biography
I grew up at my grandparents’ rose nursery where they proudly grew their own A-quality breed. Being surrounded by the greenhouse technology, the oldtimer cars, and worksheds from my dad and uncles, I fell in love with technology and engineering as a kid. I loved to read and was privileged to spend most of my childhood in public libraries and musea.
I have always been eager to learn and curious. I also always liked (board) games, both playing and designing them, and I absolutely love patterns, systems, organizational & planning methods, models, etc. With this love for analytical thinking, I started programming at the age of 12.
A whirlwind of a career followed. I have been called weird, different, overly ambitious, and unrealistic. Some people just don’t seem to ‘get’ me, even if they try. But I have also been called inspirational, motivational, innovative, glass ceiling shattering, visionary, and amazing. There is probably some truth in both. On this page, you will read more about me, my experience, interests, and bio.
